On Life’s Purpose

What's life's purpose? I asked myself

And you, my friend, my brother, I know

You ask yourself the same question

Yet we must convince ourselves we're not alone
My friend, my brother, I don't want to distract you

From whatever keeps you busy or not

But we must focus on our eyes when focusing on nothingness
Yes, we must do something for us, for you and me

Something that may surprise the stars, if not the Earth
But this is what I fear: finding something new that may justify my life

My purpose in life, or my life's purpose
Skin, bones, and emotions it's what I'm

Yes, my friend, my brother, you can call me a human
Please tell me I'm a human being. You're a human being, too

In fact, you alone are humanity

One man is humanity, the entire humanity

But I am not sure if we've done enough

Because we fear, isn't it?

We fear because we don't know our life's purpose
I'll tell you what

Let's understand the gag that mutes you and I and all
We must save our governments time, effort, and money

We must torture ourselves

It would be our duty as citizens

Yet you and I are mute, my friend, my brother, mute, deaf, blind

And we're not wise monkeys, we're not wise
You and I have a cry that crawls in our throats

A chain in our souls, a weight in our hearts, a vacation in our brains
But whatever it is
Let the next spring bloom in our lives

Let's gather some flowers for our graves
And hope, hope that there is a treasure at the end of this rainbow
At the end of this rainbow there is a covenant that says

"Within you, there is a magic garden."
But you must answer the question for centuries, unanswered

And don't be afraid, my friend, my brother, don't be afraid

What is the problem?

You know the question, and you know the answer

That's the problem.
