Man is a boy

Man has not grown up

Man is a boy who thinks he is an adult

What now happens in his life

Is his future

The future that escapes his imagination

Not the future he dreams

For there is no future in his dreams

It’s in the present he dreams

He never imagines this present, this future

When a boy dreams

When a boy loves the future, he dreams

It’s a lucid dream, almost real

So really, he doesn’t want to wake up

He dreams he is an adult

A man-boy, an adult-boy

He never dreams he is an old man

That’s a nightmare

He wonders about a nonexistent future

Things that happen still don’t happen

Will never happen

Good or bad, he is still here

Lost in this future, his future

He is a boy

Still a boy

Always a boy

Dreaming of his eternal future

In his eternal present
