I recommend you write outside the dictionary. When facing the frightful blank page, let your imagination release your words. Let them run free. It’s okay for your words to run free like wild horses in the open spaces of your blank page. Let them be. Facing the blank page, forget grammar rules that keep your words on a leash. Don’t ever put barriers to your words. Never mind if they run ahead of you. At some point in your writing, you will reach your words, catch them tired, and then they will be ready for you to tame them.
