Time Well Wasted

It’s not all work. It’s not all preoccupations. It’s not all planning.

Doing nothing is a gift we cannot ignore. So, yes, go ahead and make the time to waste it.

Indeed, doing nothing for an instant is the best philosophy and remedy for all illnesses and encourages businesses to improve productivity.

True. We must have time to waste time. This philosophical attitude must apply to all intelligent organizations. It should not be penalized because the brain must have a space to breathe and expand. So, wherever you are, take a moment in your day to do nothing at all. Close your eyes, relax, and enjoy the sweet idleness, “Il dolce far niente,” as the Italians say.

Please do it. You will come out fortified from this exercise. Encourage it with your employees, and you will see the difference in their attitudes. Doing nothing for a few minutes is like giving your brain a warm, relaxing shower.
